Here are a few photos of Elizabeth's presentation on Domestic Violence and our door prize winners!
Oh, the fun we have! Our Spring Brunch was held today, April 26, at the home of Nancy Harris, and while the group was small, it was delightful, and the tasty brunch treats everyone brought to share were yummy! Nancy is a wonderful host, and had decorated the tables so beautifully, it would have been very hard to not enjoy the day! Here are a few photos of the place settings, part of the group, and one special photo of Sheryl Fritz wearing her adorable "Brunch Earrings" that she bought just for these occasions! Last but not least, Nancy with her precious Bella and Bebe, just before she banished them to the upstairs!
Our April Luncheon was held at the Marriott Hotel, and featured our own Jackie Wertis, who spoke to us about Genealogy, as she is truly an expert! Jackie is the only board certified genealogist in the state of Oklahoma!

The Oaks Country Club was the venue again, for our March Luncheon, also known as our Annual Fashion Show! Zella's Boutique owner Susan Starling Nye was our guest speaker, presenting some delightful fashion designs and accessories, modeled by some of our own TNC members! Everyone agreed it was a great preview of spring and summer fashions for 2018! Be sure to stop by Zella's and let her know how much we appreciate her sponsorship of our club; she deserves to know, as she's been a sponsor (remember those door prize gifts??) for about 12 years now!

What a wonderful November Luncheon! We met at the Cedar Oaks Country Club for a great program (thank you, LaVonne Ruse, our Vice President - Programs), featuring local author Cheryl Waldeck! Cheryl gave us lots of tips about entertaining, using a colorful power-point presentation on a large screen, so everyone could see. Then President Jan Briggs introduced Sherri Hardy from PAL (Pet Adoption League) and Sharisa, representing the Madonna House, and presented a check for $250 from TNC to each charity! Members also brought donations. We voted on the slate of officers for 2018, and had door prize drawings too. There is evidence to suggest that a very suspicious event occurred the evening of July 8, creating Murder Mystery Mayhem! The scene of the crime was an Italian restaurant, where certain members of the Tulsa Newcomers Club were suspects, one was the victim's widow in mourning, and all were charged with solving the crime! Was someone framed? Who was proclaimed guilty? Who was exonerated? You wouldn't know, if you didn't go!
A great cast of characters!!!
How inspiring our speaker was at our July Luncheon!
